Review the following important concepts from the Historiography unit: the difference between primary and secondary sources; what the origin, purpose, values and limitations are of various types of sources (you can’t really study for the questions in this unit per se because you will be given sources and you must be able to evaluate them); you could review historiography on Hitler and Stalin (it might help) Understand the characteristics of the Enlightenment and the general philosophy behind the Age of Reason Know who the philosophes were and their general method of understanding the world around them Know key ideas of John Locke and Jean-Jacques Rousseau
