I. Scope And Limitations
This study only focuses to make a Whiteboard Marker Ink out of Charcoal and used Engine Oil . This project is concentrated to find out the importance of difference between a commercial Whiteboard Marker Ink and a Whiteboard Marker Ink out of Charcoal and used Engine Oil. The researchers will only have three trials to compare it findings. This study is only limited in making a Whiteboard Marker Ink not in any other markers. II. Review Of Related Literature
I. Materials Needed
Mortar and Pestle
50 ml Charcoal
50ml Used Engine Oil
Commercialize Marker (pilot)
First, Pound the Charcoal into smallest Pieces.
Second, mix the charcoal, used engine oil, and cooking oil based on the given
measurements per trial.
Third, filter the mixture using the rug or a filter paper into another cup to remove the
Whole pieces of charcoal
Fourth, put it in a Vial using stirring rod or transfer the final product into the Whiteboard
Lastly, Record and observe the results.
In getting the results, the researchers consider the following: Color, texture and eraser
test. The researchers had trial 1, trial 2, and trial 3 with different measurements of its
components. By sketching a shaded rectangle for each trial and the commercialize one
for the eraser test.
This investigatory is all about producing a Whiteboard Marker Ink out of Charcoal and Used Engine Oil. The group researched about the composition of the Charcoal and Used Engine Oil that can be used as a Whiteboard Marker Ink. The group’s problem is to find an important difference between commercial and alternative Whiteboard Marker Ink.
The group concludes that the important difference of Whiteboard marker ink out of Charcoal and Used Engine Oil and a commercialize Whiteboard Marker is affordability since anybody can make his/her whiteboard ink out of the main components. The two does not share any similarities but more on Differences such as the color, intensity and erasing the ink in the whiteboard.
