This is a essay on the correct appearance and wear of the Army PT uniform because I failed to meet the standards and did not have my uniform complete. It is important to be in the right place at the right time with a positive attitude and in the right uniform at all times. Being in the correct uniform is important to the Army. A soldier should always be in the right uniform because it is a part of the Army standard and should be adhered to at all times both on and off duty. It represents the Army, our company. our cadre and what we stand for. It is also important for soldiers to follow directions and to listen and pay attention to what either the regulation states or what your command told you. If you're not able to follow simple directions, how are you supposed be trusted to follow the major tasks that you're asked to perform either at work, on the battle field or at home. The little things reflect on what you will or will not be able to do when you are asked to handle big tasks. Not following simple directions can effect a situation negatively or could possibly get you or your battle buddy injured, hurt or killed. The little things or small tasks may not seem like a big deal at the time but there is always a reason why you need to do things a certain way. It is not in our job description to ask questions or wonder why, we are suppose to just do what we are told without any hesitations.
